Hey all,
So, being extremely bored, I decided to attempt novel creation and writing. I think chapter 1 is nice, but chapters 2-4 more or less fail. Chapter 1 I think is what got it it's six fans and seven votes.
However, I like Dystopian Science Fiction, think 1984, Greenies, Little Brother, etc, except the people who were formerly sighted are now blind and likewise people who were formerly blind suddenly have sight. Is this scientifically accurate and is it possible? No, probably not, but I wanted to create something original at least. I know the members of various blindness organizations will bash my writing because it's first person and features Michael basically favoring one over another, due to the fact that I was suffering major writer's block then and I'm also suffering it now. What I had planned to do was also create a dark America: 2210 with of course advanced technology that plays off our blindness technology of today, the difference being that of course society adopts and embraces it, along with high tech AI advances such that bots run day to day operations for someone for a fee; I've also thought of other uses for them.
